We absolutely loved our stay at this super funky hostel. the interior was amazing with loads of chill out communal areas. the projector for watching films and the well-equipped kitchen were perfect. We also enjoyed the three-tier bunk beds with little curtains for privacy. the toilets were clean and the entire hostel was beautifully decorated. As foreign tourists, we felt right at home.
We felt completely at home here, with nothing to complain about.

The hostel had a super fancy feel to it, making me feel like I had sneaked into a pricy hotel. the rooms were very clean and the bathroom was spotless. the structure of the hostel was amazing, with a big patio where you could meet other travelers. the hostel also had a nice and clean restaurant, offering delicious food. it exceeded my expectations and provided a great experience.
The tendency to rip off guests with ridiculously high prices for services that were not included in the bed cost. the communication about these additional charges often came after using the services, which was frustrating.

The staff was really friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with any questions or concerns we had. The place had a cozy and colorful decoration which made it feel very welcoming. The common spaces were great, especially the comfortable lounge area where we could relax and even catch a few Z's when we arrived early in the morning and couldn't check-in yet. The location of the hotel was also a big plus, as it was conveniently located near key attractions and transportation hubs.
The rooms could be a bit noisy, as they were not soundproofed and sometimes we could hear people talking late at night. Additionally, we encountered a rickshaw driver waiting at the entrance gates who tried to take us to his friend's or family member's shop instead of our desired destination.

Vibrant, lively, colorful common spaces including a large garden are a sight for sore eyes after a long day of exploring the city. It's like stepping into a psychedelic wonderland!
Limited staff availability.

The hostel had incredibly clean rooms and was very quiet compared to other hostels in India. the staff, although initially appearing stern, were actually very sweet and eager to help. the location was great, situated about 100m from the nearest road, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without the sounds of beeping cars.
The check-in timing was strictly enforced, so if you arrive early in the morning, you won't be able to get your room or dorm bed. This can be a bit inconvenient, so it's best to come prepared with a smiling face to try and negotiate with the staff.

The decor at Jaipur Jantar Hostel is simply charming, with vibrant colors and beautiful block print curtains on every bunk. The common areas are lively and filled with old trees, creating a serene and peaceful ambiance. As a senior woman, I really appreciated the accessibility of the hostel. The pathways were well-maintained and easy to navigate, making it comfortable for me to explore the large garden and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
I would have preferred if the children working there had been more knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of senior guests.

The value for money at this hostel was excellent! The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The location was also great, with quick access to the center of town. The staff treated me like family and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant, especially Appy who made sure I didn't miss anything and even cooked delicious Indian food for me. Don't miss the food tour with her!
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have more variety in the breakfast items.

As a solo traveler and YouTuber, I stayed at Jaipur Jantar for 4 days during my hitchhiking journey through India. The premises were always clean and tidy, with regular water supply and all necessary facilities. The hostel had a calm and welcoming atmosphere, unlike many others I've stayed at before. The small garden outside provided a lovely space for long conversations with friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hangout spot.
Can recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved the warm and vibrant atmosphere of this hostel. The colorful decor and beautiful gardens created a lively and cheerful ambiance that made me feel right at home. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the accessibility of the hostel, with well-maintained pathways and ramps that made it easy to navigate around the property. The common areas were spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of seating options for relaxing and socializing with other guests. It was a delightful experience to be surrounded by the energy and enthusiasm of the young travelers and the children working there.
I wish there had been more options for senior-specific activities and amenities. While the hostel had a friendly and lively vibe, it would have been nice to have a dedicated space or organized activities that catered to the needs of senior travelers.
